Chong Boon Leong

When he isn't practising law, he is a bird enthusiast, passionately stalking his feathered friends. His enthusiasm has brought many friends together, exploring the landscapes of Singapore and neighbouring countries with his trusty Olympus camera and a 300mm f2.8 lens. According to Boon Leong, this is the lightest gear for bird hunting.

He is fast and nimble, wearing slippers and shorts, weaving in and out of the forest in pursuit of his prey. With a tape recorder playing bird calls to lure them closer, he uses an ingenious method to coax the birds into view. His dedication and innovative techniques make every birdwatching excursion an adventure.
